New school year.

It’s happened again…. I can’t believe that I wrote my last blog post in March! The funny thing is though, with Mari involvement with football via Heath Park Rangers, it’s only getting busier… 🙂

Ok, lots has happened since March…

Mari had her birthday in May (9) and Cerys was 15 (nightmare, I know) in June. Cerys took and passed 2 GCSE’s (1 year early) with an A in RE and a C in Science…. well done cariad!

The kids really enjoyed the build up to school holidays and they were even more excited when I suggested Cerys look into foreign holidays.

With a lot of diligence, she chose Majorca and I must say it was a first class decision. With a bit of help from a friend, we were able to settle on Puerto de Pollensa as a resort and I have got to say we had the time of our lives. The town is pretty quiet and has a lovely beach and port/bay area. The best bit for me … was that we ate out every evening, which was a huge treat for us all.

I must say it was worth every penny.

It was back to school last week, which I hate. The pace of life in summer holidays suits me just fine!

They all settled back brilliantly into the new school term. Cerys in Year 11, Ffion Year 8 and Mari Year 5. Ffion is beginning to turn into the family’s second Chef … an ace Brownie maker. Mari on the other hand is sporty and has just started paying football (with boys) for Heath Park Rangers green team.

Well that’s it for now. Heading into the Christmas run…. so watch out…. lots of exciting events to come!.

With love,
